High Mountain and Shaded Coffees
Our Coffees are grown at high elevations that range from 3,000 to 5,400 feet above sea level, 100% ARABICA Specie, Bourbon, Caturras, and Maragojipe type being our main varieties. The ripe beans are 100% hand picked, fully washed, optimal fermenting time, and 100% Sun Dried.
Esperanza's Shade and High Mountain grown coffees not only taste great because they grow under a canopy of shade trees. This contributes to a slow ripening process in the bean which allows the sugars time to develop, a process which results in a smoother and more flavorful cup. They also taste great because they grow at very high altitudes in the Mountains, under organic oriented practices, fertile soils, and abundant water supply, all of which translates in excellent aroma, crisp acidity, balanced body and a sweet after taste.
